SPOT AS has played a central role as the main mechanical contractor in the “MEP 2.0” project – a major expansion of metformin production capacity at pharmaceutical manufacturer Vistin Pharma.

The project runs from June 2021 to April 2022 and marks a significant step in Vistin Pharma’s efforts to increase pharmaceutical production within the European market.

SPOT AS’s scope of delivery has included:

  • Procurement, pipe and steel fabrication

  • Insulation, scaffolding, and crane services

  • Third-party certification and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)

The piping systems range from DN15 to DN400, covering both process piping and instrument air. All piping has been delivered in 316L stainless steel and in full compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
